About Ana

With a creative and business writing background, Ana’s writing has appeared in Chicken Soup for the Adopted Soul, Walnut Creek Magazine, Sybase Magazine, Zento, and Open Exchange. Through the marvels of cyber-space, she is the Mainland columnist and associate publisher of Maui Vision Magazine, which is published bi-monthly on Maui.

As a writer who specializes in penning professional profiles and business communications, Ana has writen for such clients as Alain Pinel Realtors in Palo Alto, Communications2 and Landscape Artists International. The former program director for best-selling author Alan Cohen, she has also promoted and worked with inspirational authors and motivational speakers such as Dr. Wayne Dyer, Sonja Choquette, Peter Russell and Sondra Ray.

Previously, Ana worked in academia and corporate America where she led fund-developement events and executive education programs at the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business and at Stanford Law School. She also managed internal employee fundraising campaigns for Hewlett-Packard Company and Agilent Technologies, raising millions of dollars for a multitude of charities.

Additionally, Ana is an Amherst Writers & Artists Affiliate and leads creative writing workshops in Palo Alto, California; at WomenCare a non-profit organization in Santa Cruz dedicated to serving women with Cancer.

She resides in Palo Alto, California.
