Giving Back

In her Newsweek column Write for Your Life, Anna Quindlen wrote: “The new movie Freedom Writers isn’t entirely about the themes the trailers suggest. It isn’t only about gang warfare and racial tensions and tolerance… Freedom Writers is about the power of writing in the lives of ordinary people. That’s a lesson everyone needs.”

Write On Writers offers workshops for organizations such as SPARK, a program that inspires middle-school youth to pursue their interests, create bonds with their communities, and develop a lifelong passion for learning, and at Women Care, a center that offers a safe haven where women who are making the cancer journey will find mutual support, shared experience and open hearts.

Writing can and does transform lives!
